To Faculty using WebCT crystal reports:

Please note the following change

I want to inform you of a programming error we discovered this evening with the crystal report.   We had a crystal report created witht a password based on first two letters of first name, last four digits of student id, and last two letters of first name.

Upon examining the report, I realized that the programmer got the password in reverse (and in an almost-dyslexic moment I did not catch it).

If you used the crystal report to create student passwords and usernames, it is important that you tell your students that the actual password is created by taking:

1. The first two letters of the FIRST name

2. the last four digits of the student id, and

3. the last two letters of the LAST name.
